ReplyDeleteI have read the whole book and it was a really good book in the book there are things that you would never know that was going to happen. I'm really glad that i choose this book.
ReplyDeleteYay Nia! I am proud of you for reading the whole book :) You should check out some of Sharon Draper's other books if you liked this one. She is a really popular author, and kids can connect to her work.

ReplyDeleteOkay, so this wasn't the book I read, but since I've read it before I thought I'd drop by to say this book is purely amazing . . . even though unlike romeo and Julliet, no one commits suicide out of love. [I think it's better that way.] =]

i read the book romiette and julio and it is a great book. If your intrested in romance than this book should be good for you. The book also has somewhat of Mystery.
ReplyDeleteI read the book and I really liked it. I like Romiette & Julio being together. Its something different. The drama, the violence & the problems they go through make the book better. Good book :O

ReplyDeleteI really connect to this book like when romiette writes in her journal about Julio ((i do that a whole buch about boys)) i love this book and i already have my favorite part which is when they excahnged gifts to each other with the key cahin and with the little lion its so sweet

i have read this book before. this book will capture your atention. once you pick the book up you dont want to put it down. this book is one of my favorite books. you could read it over and over again and never get bored of it.

ReplyDeleteI like the fact tthat this book is so similar to Romio and Juliet. Yet it is so different from it. Like the story is the same, but it takes place in modern life. How they struggeled to win for wat they wanted. And the fact that people actually live this in thier every day lifes...
ReplyDeletei agree with karina the book can relate to many teens these days. The book has alot what we face these days. gangs are a big issue now in days. And also people think they can control our lifes. every1 should really injoy this book.
ReplyDeleteI have read this book like 5 times and I love it everytime! I always cry-it's pretty sad. I give it 9-ish. It's really nice and sweet and exciting and still sad. I love the modern day Romeo & Juliet!

ReplyDeleteIf I had to rate this book from 1-10...I would give it a 7. Becuase the story is great,but i think the auther could have had better organization...I really did like the book, so don't get me wrong. I also think it should have been longer...
