Where is everyone reading this book?
ReplyDeleteThe most interesting chapter in the book was the one about the slave auction block.
ReplyDeleteThis book was the worst book ever...but it wasn't the greatest....I read it like...last time we did book talk group things...and it was very confusing... :/ and kinda boring
ReplyDeletethe most puzzling is how the slaves got to dance every saturday night. that was sometthing that i thought was puzzling. really great book.
ReplyDeletei can connect with this novel because my ancsetors were slaves and all my life i have heard stories about slaves and this novel gives me better knowledge of that.
ReplyDeleteThis book is funny when the lady tells you
ReplyDeletewhat types of songs they use to sing
What was puzzling to me was how the slaves were able to sneak out into a secret house and sing and pray and dance all night long without getting found.
ReplyDeletei give the book a 9.5. mainly because when the slaves stories were put into the book, no words were changed and it showed how slaves talked back then because they couldn't learn.
ReplyDeleteI think all types of students should be able to read this next year because it shows how hard it was back then. and now a days everyone complains about the smallest things.
ReplyDeletei want to read this book it look good n sound lol
